About this deal

At the end of Season 7, Cole and the other ninja decided to make Lloyd their master after Wu was lost in time with Time Twins.

Lloyd is ambushed in the Ninjago City Museum by Morro, a ghost who escaped the Cursed Realm, and ends up getting possessed. Morro steals the Allied Armor, that lets him summon other ghosts from the Cursed Realm, and goes to Sensei Wu's tea shop to get the staff that was given to him by the First Spinjitzu Master. Without Lloyd powering them, the other Ninja lose their elemental powers and have no choice but to escape with Wu on the Destiny's Bounty, with Morro in pursuit, riding Lloyd's elemental dragon. Wu reveals that Morro was his first student, and the Master of Wind. Zane: "I have to agree with Jay. While I would normally be on sensei's side. I do not wish to be standing here all day. " Sora is one of Lloyd's first two students. While she kept doubting at having the Power of Technology as she first got it from Riyu, Lloyd kept trying to tell her she has it and that Riyu " soups" it up. During their mission in Imperium to disable the Photacs, an old invention of hers, Lloyd started to question Sora's loyalty upon discovering she had tuned several more, until she turned up with a dragon that was her namesake and revealed she built a component to disassemble them, he started to trust her again. Lloyd was proud when Sora achieved her True Potential after Beatrix nearly sent him and Arin in a MergeQuake rift. Yes it is all very tongue in cheek. All the relationships are very peculiar but the book pulls you along I an almost hypnotic trance. You spend a lot of time wondering what it all means and who Franio really is and why the Prince is so crazy. Scholarly claims highlighting the harms of positioning mental health as underpinned exclusively by demonic aetiologies or personal sin (Hartog & Gow, 2005; Lloyd & Hutchinson, 2022; Lloyd & Waller, 2020; Lloyd, 2021a; Webb et al., 2008) is a perception that appears to be mirrored by the stories elicited in this study. In portrayals of the causes of self-harm, the stories often outlined that, when demonic aetiologies or personal sin were positioned as the sole cause of self-harm, the individual experienced increased levels of both public and personal stigma. Specifically, the stories illustrated participants’ perceptions that stigma was perceived as having both a causal and a maintaining role in self-harm, acting to diminish help-seeking behaviours. By describing shame and stigma as frequent outcomes of a solely demonic or spiritual aetiology, the participants appeared to comprehend and represent the dangers of a solely spiritual understanding of self-harm.

As they started to get used to the wind they all looked towards the doors. Wondering how the flew open when they were just shut tight. Lloyd's father loved him very much since the day he was born. Lloyd idolized him and even dreamed of being just like his father by becoming a supervillain, but his father didn't want his son to be like him, instead, he wanted Lloyd to be his person. When Lloyd finds out he was the Green Ninja, he was sad that he had to face his father and vice versa. When Garmadon was purified of the evil in him, Lloyd was happy that he was finally reunited with his dad and the two used this as an opportunity to spend time with each other. In " Green Destiny," Lloyd was reunited with his friend and hugged after he returned. Lloyd gladly fought off the Sons of Garmadon with Cole's aid. Cole was happy to see Lloyd defeated his father and regained his powers as a result. The season reveals Kai has a fear of water (but he does not in Season 2), Jay has a fear of attics, Zane has a fear of Morro, and Cole has a fear of becoming a ghost (which he later on succumbs to). This was the first set wave to feature Airjitzu Flyers. This wave marked the debut of the updated shuriken design, though the show retained the original design in this season.

In " Into the Breach," Lloyd is frustrated by how he has to "babysit" his father but puts up with him and cordially introduced him to the ninja's sleeping room. He looked sad when seeing the picture between him and his father and despite being furious when his father destroyed it, he still couldn't throw the picture away and returned it to its place gently and stared at it once again sadly. Although Lloyd continues to mistrust his father and refuses to allow him to go armed and without him, he ultimately decides to trust his father and they work together. Lloyd saw at one point a hope that his father was still there but was frustrated by how Garmadon denied it yet perplexed when Garmadon laughed truly. Kai continues his larger role from the previous season due to his promise to always be there for Lloyd after Master Garmadon’s banishment to the Cursed Realm. He was on his way to museum when he noticed that dark clouds are starting to form in the sky above him. The season premier of Possession achieved rank 22 in the top 100 Monday cable originals on 29 June 2015 with 2.05 million viewers. [41] Critical reception [ edit ] As TA is not theoretically fused to any specific theoretical framework and offers a theoretically versatile method for analysing qualitative data, Braun and Clarke ( 2006) recommend that researchers explicitly discuss their theoretical approach to TA. As discussed, the present study was theoretically grounded within the contextualist approach, which was focused on participants’ perspectives (comparable to the essentialist frameworks) but also appreciated these as embedded within participants’ wider social context (analogous to social constructionism) and, therefore, as reflecting their particular social positioning. Consequently, the data (stories) in the present study were read as giving access to participants’ assumptions, perspectives, and social understandings of self-harm within an evangelical Christian context. Thus, the analysis presented in this study is not situated as representing participants’ own experiences or responses to self-harm within an evangelical Christian context. As previously noted, participants were asked to use their imagination when completing the stories. Based on the work of Fettes ( 2008), we do not view imagination and perception as binary within the context of this study. Instead, through SC, we were asking participants to use their imagination. As imagination is deeply influenced by personal history, culture, and one’s ability to think about the nature of the world both as it is and how it might be, we were able to use imagination to gain access to perceptions of self-harm. A grieving Lloyd is possessed by the ghost of Morro – the Master of Wind and Wu’s first student. In Lloyd’s body, Morro renders the other ninja powerless before stealing Wu’s staff. It contains three hidden symbols, the path to finding the Tomb of First Spinjitzu Master. Wu knows that if Morro finds the tomb, he will claim the Realm Crystal. This relic has the power to open the fabric between realms, enabling the powerful Preeminent to enter the NINJAGO world. [citation needed] Episodes [ ] Season Ep #

By referring to Summer’s self-harm and her Christian life as a ‘dual personality’, the participant represented Summer’s mental illness and subsequent self-harm as conflicting with Christianity and a Christian identity. As a result of this perceived incompatibility, these two aspects of Summer were represented as becoming compartmentalised. The presentation of mental ill health and of Christianity as dichotomised led to portrayals of Summer struggling to make sense of her experiences of self-harm, as if this meant she was not a ‘good enough’ Christian. One participant stated: ‘[She] often wondered why she self-harmed and if it was a ‘Christian thing’ for her to do’ (P21). This participant represented Summer as experiencing doubt and conflict, concerned that her experiences of self-harm and her Christian faith could not coalesce. Another participant described Summer feeling that, ‘as a Christian, she knew it was the wrong thing to do’ (P40).

Kai: "Look guy. I don't know how you know Wu or why you want the green ninja but I'm not going to fight you." The First Spinjitzu Master is Lloyd's grandfather, who died long before he was born. Though he never met him, Lloyd respected him for his great skill. During Season 8, he discovered that he was partially Oni and Dragon because of him. In the Season 8 finale, Lloyd was under the impression that his friend was dead and unaware he was in another realm.

As of Game Over, Racer Seven and Lloyd were freed from Prime Empire by a redeemed Unagami along with the other ninja and NPCs. After exiting the Manifestation Gate, Racer Seven spots Lloyd among the crowd and he sees her. She briefly smiles at Lloyd, in gratitude for giving her a new start in life. Lloyd accepted this with a smile of his own.During " Once and for All," they were confronted by Vex and his soldiers. Grimfax put his faith in Lloyd by telling him to split from the group and get through to Zane. During " Green Destiny," Lloyd confronted his father with Wu who had returned and they fought as Garmadon declared them as his enemies. Lloyd's pleas for him to come to his senses fall on deaf ears, as Garmadon has no intention of reforming. When on the brink of certain doom, Lloyd uses Garmadon's overconfidence and will to fight against him by baiting him into prolonging the battle. Lloyd soon suddenly realizes that if Garmadon was fueled by the fight then he must stop fighting to defeat him. He manages to resist his father long enough for the latter to lose his power and for Lloyd to regain his own. Showing mercy, Lloyd refused to strike Garmadon down permanently, instead insisting that the fight was over. Before going to prison, Garmadon warned Lloyd that now that he was powerless, there was nothing that could stop Ninjago from being overcome by the approaching darkness. Despite no longer trusting his father, Lloyd heeded his words about the darkness and feared the coming of the Oni. In " Firstbourne," Lloyd was still sad at losing his friend and was unable to focus on his training. However, he learned that he had been instead teleported to somewhere after he and the others found a piece of a leaf for Traveler's Tea. During their discussion, Lloyd revealed that in spite of her apparently never truly having feelings for him, he did have genuine feelings for Harumi. He even explained that he searched for Harumi following the defeat of the Colossus. He stated that he searched for her through the rubble with his bare hands. He later tried to reason with Harumi, saying he knew Harumi wouldn't want any innocent people get hurt.
