About this deal

I’ve managed to get through a few books recently and it’s definitely helped to reignite my love for reading. With a permanent inventory of 250,000 hand-picked volumes and with publication dates ranging from the 1500s to the present, MW Books has much to offer the conscientious bibliophile as well as the avid reader.

For more details, please consult the latest information provided by Royal Mail's International Incident Bulletin. A tricky one to get through at times, but one I’d recommend to anyone wishing to take on the subject of mental health. Victor Arwas was one of the leading scholars and experts in the fine and decorative arts from the late nineteenth century onwards. Although this wasn’t the experience in my family, I can acknowledge that there are others with different dynamics that will resonate with this story’s theme and characters. A snapshot of rural French village life throughout the year, full of insightful observations from an author who paints pictures of the seasonal changes in words. My first read from Curtis Sittenfield, although I have since bought a couple more from her because I loved Rodham so much.

After calming the terrified animal, Lewis-Stempel leads him back to his field where the cause of the alarm is revealed: a fire salamander, basking in the sunshine.Lauren Parvizi, the author of “La Vie, According to Rose,” has written a provocative, memorable, and heartfelt novel. After a lifetime of trying to be everything to everyone in her family and at her job, Rose finds herself passed over for a promotion and feeling passed over by life. In this book, the author discusses the importance of self-worth, finding and accepting oneself, second chances, finding a balance, and the importance of family and friends. I guessed the "twist" about 50% of the way through the book as the author had left thick, noticeable connections between characters rather than weaving a thin, cohesive tapestry between them. NO” is not in her vocabulary, and when she is disappointed and not rewarded for her efforts and help, Rose decides to use her three-week vacation to go to Paris to find her dreams.

It follows a complex family of daughters, and the story spans several generations, unveiling many secrets and scandals and a few twists too. Reni Eddo-Lodge tackles some incredibly important issues in this hardcore read, and it was such an education for me.The two stories are interlinked, although set 30 years apart, and although this is an incredibly heart-wrenching tale, I absolutely adored it!
