About this deal

No, you can’t run plugins in standalone mode, that’s why I developed this workflow. If you need dedicated multisampled acoustic drum kits for the Live/X we make plenty: http://www.mpc-samples.com/section.php/79/0/mpc-x-mpc-live-tutorials-sounds-expansions/ Reply Before we bounced our bass patch sequence we reduced the number of bars to avoid recording the excessively high notes. What we couldn’t do at that stage was remove the excessively low notes as this would have messed up the automatic slide labelling and assignment in the templates. Not necessary, no, although some people have experienced glitches and bugs with Autosampler when trying to sample some VSTs (Kontakt seems to be the most commonly reported). This method doesn’t seem to have that problem. But these days Autosampler should be the first port of call. Reply We’re now going to bounce this sequence to create an audio sample from it. To do this in the hardware UI simply go to MAIN> top pencil icon> EDIT> BOUNCE TO SAMPLE

Now this workflow can be completed entirely in the computer GUI (there’s one task that has to be done in the GUI) but on the whole I’m going to explain the workflow from the hardware/touchscreen UI as that’s what most MPC X and MPC Live users are used to. Pioneer’s standalone sampler borrows a number of ideas from the classic MPC format but includes features aimed at DJs and live performers. The MPC One Plus is ready to integrate into your current studio setup. Whether you are just starting out, or have a fully-fledged studio setup, the MPC One Plus is ready to become the centrepiece of your studio. USB controllers can be connected via USB whilst 1/4 line level inputs can be used to connect instruments. Integrate with SpliceI honestly wish they would have kept making controllers for the software while adding new features instead of making people believe a lesser product is good just because you don’t have to connect it to the computer. You can connect up to 32 class-compliant USB MIDI controllers to the MPC One (running at least Firmware v2.8). A powered USB hub can be connected to the One's USB A port to expand the USB I/O up to 32 MIDI ports. In LAYER 1, single tap the trashcan icon to the left of the sample name to remove the sample assigned to this keygroup. Repeat for all the key groups you wish to disable. Once you’ve removed all the samples, re-save the keygroup program. Converting To Mono The MPC Plus utilises the same multi-core processor as the popular MPC X, creating a compact standalone desktop unit that easily handles demanding production tasks. The MPC One Plus experience is enhanced further by allowing you to get hands-on with audio editing. Chop and edit samples with hand gestures with the interactive 7-inch touch screen. A range of dedicated knobs and touch keys also help prevent endless searches through menus, allowing you to concentrate on the fun stuff. MPC mainstays

The MPC One offers the most affordable way into the latest generation of Akai's celebrated sampling workstation. Featuring both complete standalone operation and full control over the brand new MPC 2.8 software, this machine is the best of both worlds! Now that your plugin patch has been cloned and the MPC instrument saved, you can move onto multisampling another patch. But before you start, you’ll need to reset the project template.
